Ok now I know this is meant to be about my kids but this month I’m breaking the rules – yep I’m a dangerous rule breaker! Are you ready lol
So me, my camera and my kids are not seeing eye to eye at the moment, I’ve lost the tactics, I’ve lost the skills, I’ve lost all parenting skills! Instead I bought myself a book, “a year of mornings”, which I have wanted for a while now! I was looking for inspiration to create beautiful images of my everyday’ness’, of our lives, of the routines that make up our day! But as much as I look at the pictures and as much as I really really really want to produce similar beautiful images of everyday things alas it’s not to be!! I won’t even bother to share cause really I gave up before I even started lol!
So I was thinking about my current everyday and one of the things I love at the moment is buying flowers for the house, I’m pretty obsessed with it and really I don’t have that many places to put all these flowers but they make me happy! Another thing that makes me happy at the moment, my macro lens, macro photography is just so relaxing, especially when you don’t have the energy to get great shots of your kids! So my days are filled with colour, flowers and macro photography and this at the moment makes my heart smile!
