letters to our children (mini monsters) | personal post …

Well I am thrilled to have this blog circle underway! I have been wanting to do this for the longest time! I struggle to keep a record of what’s going on in our lives at the best of times so I feel like this is a great opportunity to make sure I have a little something kept safe! I don’t want to gush or be overly sentimental cause that’s just not me! I just want to record what makes you you!
So where do I even begin! Well it will have to be my dude, my little side kick, my best buddy!! You are such an amazing little man! You keep me on my toes and you keep me smiling on a daily basis! You make my everyday!
You currently have an obsession with lego! And when I say obsession I mean OBSESSION! We have lego everything from pieces to games to movies haha! You get this from me, I have to do everything in overkill,  doing it just a little bit is never enough! Sorry!
You really are an amazing little man though. You are so sweet; your thoughtful, kind and are just far too cute with your sister! We do everything together and are pretty much never apart! We have had a lot of adventures together. I love that and I plan on enjoying it as long as it lasts! But one thing, you have just entered the ‘why’ phase and oh my word that does my head in little dude, seriously even why’s about the detergent ads on tellie!!! You crack me up and I seriously love being your mom!
Ps you have one really funny habit at the moment that just really makes me smile: you are happy to dress yourself but for some strange reason you always put everything on backwards!! It’s hilarious!! (still working on the right shot for this cute little you habit)

We have had an exciting 2013 so far with lots more travel and adventure to come:

The lego, oh the lego! I am going to need a bigger place!! Or a lego eating monster!

Your daddy says that I need to read to you more and you know what – he is right!!

Please follow the circle around and head on over to my friend Sarah fantastic blog for some more eye candy 🙂

  • Cassie, I love these captures! ‘This Is The Dude’ was the best introduction ever, and I absolutely get an idea of what a great big personality your little dude has. You rock, momma and just so you know, your house isn’t the only one with legos everywhere (even as they grow!) 😉ReplyCancel
